The Aria poker room opened in December 2009. The room is absolutely beautiful. 24 tables with plenty of room between tables for comfort.
Tableside food is available either room service or from their restaurant Lemongrass.
It has quickly taken some of the nosebleed stakes games away from the Bellagio. The high stakes games are played in The Ivey Room at Aria. The $300-600 Mix Game is a favorite.
As far as the games for your typical player, the Aria poker room offers $1-3, $2-5, and $5-10 No-Limit Hold'em. Limit Hold Em games are only spread occasionally. Limit Omaha Hi Lo is often spread at $4-8 or $8-16 limits. Mix games outside of Ivey's room are often spread between $4-8 and $12-24 limits. PLO and Big O games are spread with $1-3, $2-5, and $5-10 blind structures, The rake on the cash games is 10% up to $4 max. There is no additional rake for high hand or jackpot promotion.
The daily tournaments at Aria are at 1:00PM and 7:00PM. Both tournaments are $125 buy in no limit hold em. $25 of the entry is taken out of the prize pool for administrative fee. The field size of the 1:00 tourney is typically 60-70 and the field size of the 7:00 is 70-90 players.
